Candyman night club
In the evening and at night lights of this establishment stretch for 20 kilometres into the sky due to its powerful Italian floodlights. Candyman is a conceptionally new and the largest club in St Petersburg for one thousand visitors. It is the only club in the city with a fashionable Fabrique-style disco. The two-levelled space is beautifully structured by black metal structures, floodlights, staircases and passages. Candyman is equipped with extremely powerful sound and lighting systems, and has the largest stage among the city’s night clubs. The first band to perform here were the famous 2-Unlimited, who played here in March 1996, on the club’s opening night. The legendary Boney M also sang here. Every Thursday Candyman invites different foreign pop and rock musicians, Fridays and Saturdays are for local pop-stars, on Sundays you can hear Techno music here.
Security here is on a par with the majority of large European discotheques. A parking space is available. Three Bars are open at the Candyman, as well as a slot-machine game room, and a quiet room to rest, where the loud discotheque music is not audible. On the second level of the club you will find the Bridge rest area, very popular with the guests. It imitates real carriage compartments. All three Bars serve the same drinks and dishes. A night out dancing makes you feel really hungry, that is why «Candyman» offers not only bar-snacks, but also main courses and even soup. The Bar List offers various drinks, but cocktails, both classic and original, like the Candyman Cocktail, bearing the Club’s name, are especially popular here.
